Shriya got into UC Berkeley's College of Chemistry on a record built almost entirely in clinical and public-health work: a neuroscience research internship under Georgetown faculty studying chemotherapy-induced neurotoxicity, three years as a medical assistant in a gastroenterology clinic, and an oncology rotation at Palomar Medical Center. She founded her school's Doctors Without Borders chapter, built a partnership with the SNEHA Foundation delivering medical devices and school supplies across rural India, and led public-health teams in Nigeria that earned the international Global Giving Award. She is straightforward about why she is here: there is enormous information online about applications and almost no way to tell what actually matters. She would rather be the person a student can ask directly.
